The last two sessions I played started with me dropping multiple stacks of red chips within the first couple hours. I ended both sessions either up or even, but fighting back from losses all session is no way to get ahead in the game.
Viewing last night’s session, I think I see the leak — playing too loose and making too many calls for large-ish amounts when I’m on a draw. I had reasons for making these particular plays, but when others are making flops/hands and you’re not, it’s easy to drop chips.
So, my next session will start off much tighter and with fewer gambling calls.
