Could you please explain to me what exactly you told them that had them quivering? I am going through the same process with Full Tilt's CSR's and it is very annoying. Just yesterday they decided to close my account due to multiple accounts but as you know, this is wrong. My "primary" account was closed nearly a year ago thanks to my request but now they feel the need to close the only account I actually use and are telling me to ...ask them to transfer my funds to my old account?

I do not wish to do this and I would love to continue playing on the account that I have been playing on for the last year, not my original account.

Please just inform me what you told them, because you obviously got what you wanted and I would like to do the same.

so it took two weeks to straighten out the mess? i am currently experiencing problems. my account has been frozen for some security reason....they did not elaborate. i now had to provide them with add'l information (in a format that is very inconvenient for me to access) and i cannot access my account; which is extremely frustrating because i was just about to cash out. the email customer service is taking forever.

Hi Jordan - Unfortunately, I've been here several times, having sworn off online poker before.

As I was thinking about this earlier in the week, I think the other reason I decided online poker was not for me was that I tended to spend way too much time on it. Instead of getting other things done around the house, I would play online poker. What a time waster, for me.

But, the overriding reason is simple: over the past 3 weeks, I deposited 3 times at PokerStars and twice at CarbonPoker. And I went bust at both sites. I don't have results like this at live play.

Hi Jordan - Yes, I took a risk with that hand. I had played with this fellow before and had the feeling (rightly, this time) that he was on the AK/AQ hand. As I look back, I think it was also the bet amounts that helped me decide that my pair was good.

Hey Zowie. I just wanted to briefly touch on a tell you mentioned. It is a fairly common (and supported) belief that when a player's hand shakes, they usually have a Monster. The shaking is caused by the adrenaline rush when they see they have the nuts. Nervous players, ironically, tend to hide any nervousness and therefore will be less likely to shake. Any tell should be taken with a grain of salt, and in your case, it obviously worked out well. Nice job on that first hand.

Questions: What is the definition of "VP$IP stat?" I hadn't come across that one before.

And my biggest question: If you're playing so tight, why restrict yourself to the min buy-in? Why not maximize the potential ROI with a bigger stack? Why double up a bigger stack?

FullTilt is definitely a different beast. I had recently started playing there and had some good early success. There are definitely more juicy fish at the low buy-in ring games, and the variance is huge. I've only myself to blame for my recent losses there, however. I made the classic error that is SO painful at the low stakes... I played my AA "perfectly" pre-flop and just couldn't "beleive" the villain that raised the pot on the flop from EP. In my gut I was screaming "SET", but I reraised him All-In and lost to his... Set of 4's. Just couldn't believe a "good" player would call my preflop raise with such a small holding from EP... blah blah whine whine. My fault... not his. I just lacked the discipline to fold when I "knew" I should.

I changed the theme here to try something new. I like a sparser look, as a rule.

Unfortunately, the gains that I made last week were mostly wiped out over the weekend. I simply played too much when things were running bad.

Still, I can't believe how many times the absolute perfect card came out for the opponent on Full Tilt. Totally improbable! Put me on tilt for certain.

Should have listened to myself and stopped playing until I settled down.

Full Tilt sucks!
